FOREST HILLS — Actor and comedian Ray Romano was spotted at a Forest Hills restaurant Sunday where he had brunch with his family.
Romano, best known for his role in the hit sitcom ‘Everybody Loves Raymond,” dined with 10 members of his family at Nick’s Bistro, a Greek restaurant at 104-20 Metropolitan Ave., the owner of the eatery said.
The actor grew up in Forest Hills and his relatives still live in the neighborhood.
“His family comes like twice a month,” said Mario Savvas, who co-owns the restaurant with Alfred Vitsentzos. “He came here with them at least seven or eight times.”
Savvas also said that Romano’s favorite dishes at the restaurant are their Greek omelet and seafood salad.
“He is an amazing person,” Savvas said. “We have pictures with him and he is always very nice.”
Savvas said Romano is not the only celebrity who comes to Nick’s Bistro.
