World’s Fair History Walking Tour – FREE
Sure, you know the New York State Pavilion, but did you know it’s just steps from two time capsules scheduled to be opened in five thousand years? Or that NYC’s second-oldest antiquity is nearby under a tree?
Meet at the Unisphere on the second Sunday of each month for a free one-hour walking tour of World’s Fair icons.
Hear the stories behind the Unisphere, New York State Pavilion, Hall of Science, the Queens Zoo aviary, the carousel, and more.
Tours are led by Flushing Meadows Corona Park’s volunteer docents.
