Jade Eatery and Lounge to Reopen After Closing in Midst of Station Square Renovations

An Asian Fusion restaurant in Forest Hills will reopen later this month after electing to close in the midst of renovations being made to Station Square, where the eatery is located.

Jade Eatery and Lounge, located at 1 Station Square, closed this past January due to the restoration of the historic area’s brick roadway hurting business.

The owners, which include Forest Hills native Irina Gottesman, her brother Sam Kandhorov, and their father Abram Kandhorov, said they were not made aware of the construction or how long it was going to take.

Gottesman said they tried to keep the restaurant open for as long as possible during construction, but around January, business was suffering and they decided to close. Continue Reading ›
