Stylish Asian Fusion Restaurant Coming to Forest Hills

Queens New York Real Estate

QUEENS — Forest Hills sushi lovers will soon have a new chic restaurant in the neighborhood, owners said.

Mito, at 64-18 108th St., is scheduled to open next week and will offer a mixture of Japanese, Chinese and Thai food, according to Wade Chen, 26, one of the owners.

“This is a great neighborhood and we feel like there is nothing like this here,” said Chen, who also owns a pizzeria in Rockville Centre, Long Island.

Mito, named after a Japanese city, which also happened to be the Italian word for “myth,” will focus primarily on modern Japanese cuisine, such as sushi and sashimi, Chen said.
